Installation questions
How much will the film darken the room?
Darkening depends on VLT: a higher value means more visible light passes through. Each model’s VLT is listed in the catalogue.
Why is the room still hot after window film is installed?
Window film significantly reduces solar heat gain, but it cannot eliminate it completely. Some solar energy is reflected outside, while some is absorbed by the film and glass. The warmed glass releases heat both outside and into the room. Walls, the roof, warm outside air, appliances and people also add heat. Film therefore reduces overheating and the load on air conditioning, but it does not cool the room by itself.
Will I have privacy at night?
Daytime reflective privacy depends on the outside being brighter. When the interior is brighter, people may see in. Use curtains or blinds when you need privacy after dark.
How are the film and installation arranged?
We confirm the requirements, preferred tint, window dimensions and location, then agree on the model and installation details.
